Dinosaur Lessons
Behind her is a hall filled with dinosaur skeletons- some of which ran the entire length of the room. As I walked in, “it’s almost hard to believe that these were real,” spilled from my mouth. The enormous size of the creatures is a bit startling, truly wondrous, and so very curious.

Yesterday, I asked her where Jesus lives. She replied, “hmmm. Home Depot!”
My mom said this is quite an appropriate answer since Jesus was a carpenter and where else would you find a manger in LA anyway?
Yay!
She says “yay” when she means yes.
“Do you want to go outside?” “Yay!” “Do you know where your shoes are?” “Yay!” “Would you like some more grapes?” “Yay!” And when she figures something out – “ooohh Emmi yay!!” you’ll hear her exclaim to herself.
